Frequently Asked Questions 

  1. How do I pay if I don’t have a PayPal account?
    You do not need a PayPal account to register. You can pay as a guest with a credit card. PayPal accepts all major credit cards.

  2. I registered for the General Session Package and checked off the breakout sessions that I want to go to.
    Are they reserved? When will I pay for them?

    You will receive confirmation of your selections and an invoice from ISCC to cover the cost at the rate of $30 per tutorial or field trip and $60 per workshop.  Your spot will be reserved when the invoice is paid.

  3. I registered for the All Inclusive Package and checked off the breakout sessions that I want to go to.
    Are they reserved? When will I pay for them?

     If the selected sessions are not full, then you are reserved. If a session is full, you will be contacted shortly after registration with other options, or you can just be placed on a waiting list.

  4. I registered for the General Session Package and now want to switch to All-Inclusive.
    What do I need to do to change my registration?

    Email Dave Wyble drwyble@gmail.com. If you did not pay yet, you will get an invoice for the new increased total. If you paid already, you will be issued a separate PayPal invoice for the difference in cost between the two packages.

  5. How long does it take for my ISCC membership to go through?
    Can I register for the Symposium while I am waiting for confirmation?

    Your membership may not be confirmed for a few days, but you can immediately register for the conference as a member.

  6. I will arrive after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. Can I still check in to the Treehouse Dorm?
    Yes.  When you arrive at the building the security guard will contact the on-call student to check you in. This applies for all attendees arriving anytime between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

  7. I would like to arrive in Boston on Saturday. Can I spend Saturday night, June 9th, in the Treehouse Dorm?
     Yes. You can add Saturday night to your reservation in the dorm for $60.
