Dr David Briggs is the author of the Dimensions of Color website which explains how traditional and digital artists can use colour theory to advance their work.
For the past 20 years he has combined painting with teaching drawing and colour theory classes at Sydney's Julian Ashton Art School and the National School of Art.
In Wednesday's general session David will discuss how applying technology and current color science to color education can help bridge the gap between the science and art of color.
In a separate breakout session David will discuss "Where is Color Education Now? The Influence of Science and Technology".
