Mark Fairchild

Among Mark Fairchild's many roles in the world of color, he is the Director of the Program of Color Science and Munsell Color Science Laboratory at Rochester Institute of Technology, the only University offering a graduate program in color science.

At the symposium Mark will present a lecture entitled 'Munsell's Legacy: Foundation & Laboratory' in which he will review Munsell's ongoing legacy from the Munsell Color Foundation's dissolution in 1983 to the creation and endowment of the Munsell Color Science Laboratory at the Rochester Institute of Technology, now in its 35th year of operation.

In a separate tutorial Mark will be teaching 'Color Appearance, Color Order, & Other Color Systems'.
